Global Outreach has equipped and managed computer laboratories in secondary schools in Tanzania since 1998. We are making computer literacy an integral part of the school curriculum. We establish computer laboratories, furnish electrical capacity (often solar power), install hardware and software, train teachers and technicians, provide ongoing technical support, develop computer literacy syllabuses, build libraries to provide internet access and computer learning materials for all secondary school students in the region, establish partnerships between supported schools and sister schools in the US to allow videoconference learning, and work with Tanzanian educational leaders to assist in national programs and aspirations.
